The Knights of Columbus from our parish are looking for your help - and in return - we will feed you breakfast! A pancake breakfast is planned for Sunday, November 16th from 9 AM to 12:30 PM in the Parish Hall. The proceeds from this will go directly to the youth group of STM for those students attending the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis November 20-22. Your free will donations help support our youth to come closer to Him. Each youth is going to receive financial support from us. We will have a credit card payment option for this event as well! We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, November 16th between 9 AM and 12:30 PM.

A beautiful collection of hand carved olive wood religious articles from the Holy Land, will be for sale in the Gathering Area November 8/9. They are very beautiful, and they make excellent gifts for first communion, mother’s day, father’s day, Christmas, and raffle donations. The profit goes to support the 27 Catholic Families who made these articles in Bethlehem and Jerusalem. I encourage you to stop by and support our suffering Catholic Families in the Holy Land.

All are welcome to attend the special “Saints of Americas Blessing Mass” at Saint Mary of Nazareth Catholic Church. Bishop Joensen will preside and bless the eighteen Icons on November 18th at 6:30PM. These eighteen Icons represent various Saints who have fulfilled their ministry in the Americas. We are familiar with the Saint Icons of the Blessed Mother, Apostles, and Saints of Europe, however, we are less familiar of those Saints of the United States and the Americas. After being blessed by Bishop Joensen the Icons will be on permanent display at Saint Mary of Nazareth Catholic Church 4600 Meredith Drive Des Moines, Iowa 50310. Please join us for this rare opportunity to see the blessing of an Icon.
