Habitat for Humanity

New for 2026, Habitat for Humanity will be building the Pope Leo XIV Village consisting of 3 duplex houses. Volunteer opportunities for the house build will soon be available. There will be volunteer opportunities available from the end of the summer through the middle of December. The address for the village build is 1528 Arlington Ave. in Des Moines. Once you register online, you will be given information regarding the protocol to follow at the build site. - You can donate to the Pope Leo XIV Village build through St. Mary's Online Giving which can be found on the website homepage.
