St. Mary of Nazareth’s Youth Ministry exists to help young people grow in a real and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ while building authentic friendships rooted in faith. We strive to create a welcoming community where students feel known, supported, and encouraged to ask questions, deepen their faith, and discover how God is calling them to live and serve. Through prayer, fellowship, service, and discipleship, we aim to help our students become rooted in Christ, radiate His love, and respond to His call in their everyday lives.
If you are in grades 6–8, you are invited to join us for Middle School Youth Group, 6:00-7:15pm the first three Wednesday's of each month! We gather to grow in faith, friendship, and community through games, activities, small groups, prayer, conversations, and plenty of fun along the way. Middle School Youth Group is a place where you can be yourself, make new friends, ask questions, and discover more about who God created you to be.
We know trying something new can sometimes feel a little intimidating, so here are a few things you should know:
“I don’t know anyone there.”
That’s okay! A lot of students feel nervous the first time they come. Middle School Youth Group is a welcoming place, and we love helping new students feel included. You are always welcome to bring a friend with you too — they do not have to attend St. Mary’s or even be Catholic.
“Do I have to come every week?”
Nope! While we would love to see you often, there is no pressure to attend every gathering. Whether you come every week or every once in a while, you are always welcome here.
“Is this just like school?”
Definitely not. We do spend time learning about our faith and growing closer to God, but we also believe youth group should be active, engaging, and fun. Expect games, conversations, laughter, prayer, and opportunities to grow alongside other students your age.
Middle school can sometimes feel confusing, stressful, or overwhelming, but you do not have to go through it alone. God knows you, loves you, and has a purpose for your life. We would love for you to come be part of our community as we learn to become rooted in Christ, radiate His love, and respond to His call together.
“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.” — St. Catherine of Siena
